Caramel Apple Crumble Cake Recipe

Growing up in the South, I spent a lot of time on my grandparent’s farm. We never knew how many people would be dropping by for dinner. The number could go from four to twelve within minutes. Since we never knew how many to expect, my mom became adept at whipping up quick easy recipes. One of my favorites was her apple crumble cake. On a whim, I adapted it to a slightly more sophisticated version that included caramel and, if I had any on hand, pecans. This Caramel Apple Crumble Cake recipe has only five ingredients, takes 10 minutes prep time and can be made into a gluten free recipe with one simple substitution. It’s so good, especially served with ice cream.
