This centerpiece is made in a partnership with Dollar Tree. All opinions are my own.
I’m all for making cute decorations for the holiday season, but I have a natural aversion to spending a lot of money for items that will only be seen for two or three weeks of the year. While browsing a Christmas magazine a few weeks ago, I found a few crafts using the small trees from holiday village collections. I immediately thought of ways to make them into centerpieces and how cute they would be on my dining room table. Then I saw the price tag of the trees in the local craft store. Nope, I thought, there goes my cute centerpiece. I stopped by the Dollar Tree to pick up some items I needed and saw the holiday village trees in a package of 2 trees for $1! Woohoo! My cute Holiday Tree Christmas centerpiece was back in business.
The great thing about this centerpiece is it uses common items that can be reused throughout the year. The Epsom salts make a wonderful soothing sinus scrub and the brandy glasses make adorable Jack O Lanterns for Halloween. Here’s all you will need to make this centerpiece:
3 brandy sniffers
3 Holiday Trees
Epsom Salts
3 mini LED candles
1 plastic charger
Did I mention this project can be made in around five minutes? Begin by pouring Epsom salts onto the charger. You want to make the layer thick enough that it covers the middle of the charger. This is important because if your pet is like our cats, they will decide to knock some of the salts off the charger to see what will happen. Having a nice, thick layer ensures there will be plenty left on the plate.
Arrange the three trees on the charger and place the brandy sniffers over each tree so that the stem is facing upward. Place an LED candle on the top of each sniffer. This looks especially pretty in a dimly lit room.
