I have a love hate relationship with my hair. On good days I love it. It’s full, thick and has lots of volume. On bad days, which happen a lot, I hate it. In the winter it becomes dry and brittle. In the summer, thanks to the Southern humidity, I have enough frizz to be mistaken for the neighbor’s poodle. It’s not a good look for me! My daughter complains that I have caused her to have frizzy and dry hair too. “Thanks for the genetics, Mom!” she tells me. She used to spend hours straightening her hair. Then she spent several more hours saying, “Don’t touch my hair! It will be frizzy!” Some days she has resorted to wearing a cap when she left the house to cover those bad hair moments. I’ve become fond of the snap it into a pony tail and going look.

Frizziness is a big problem in my family too. My sisters both got chemically treated hair so it would be permanently straight.. I, however, quite like my curls – just need to control the frizz! I’ll give this product a go.
Love your hair in that photo! I have hair that has an attitude of its own. I use Dove products but don’t usually achieve that effect. Maybe I’m using the wrong one for my hair type!

I haven’t tried this as I have thin, oily hair. I love other Dove products though, I’d check out products for my type of hair if they made them.

I’ve tried dove shampoo before but it didn’t work for me, my hair got too greasy even the same day. But maybe i’ll try it again just to see if they changed something. Thanks for sharing.
I haven’t tried these, but I want to because I need to fight dry/brittle hair and have a good hair day! I used to use an olive oil shampoo from Sephora that gave me good hair days, but every since we moved to a humid climate, it doesn’t give that same result. Maybe Dove Advanced will be my new “good hair day” products too. Can’t wait to try!
I get salon keratin treatments, so I can’t use this because I have special shampoo that I have to use, but I use a ton of other Dove products and I love them all!
