The weather in our area has finally gotten better- we are expecting highs in the upper 70’s today. That means it is finally time to get ready for entertaining again. I was able to half way redo my patio last year, which means if I hurry up and finish, I can invite friends over for lovely al fresco evenings.  Some days I just don’t feel like preparing an elaborate meal, or even a potluck dinner. I prefer some simple snacks that can be made ahead, like this three ingredient sausage cheese dip. I can have the prep work done in ten minutes, pop it in the crockpot and forget it. That’s my kind of recipe!  Plus, it is gluten free so the entire family can enjoy it.
dip

Here’s how you make it:
Just mix one pound each of processed cheese (think the kind that starts with a “V”) and sausage. Add a can of Ro-tel tomatoes. Stir it up and place it in the crockpot. Cook on low for four hours or on high for two hours.
