Justin is our family coffee fanatic. He believes in coffee for all, iced, hot, or in frou-frou coffee drinks. A typical conversation with him includes, “Hey! Why don’t we all go get coffee?” The rest of us murmur something about it being 10 PM, but he is not deterred. When I was offered a chance to try the new Ninja Coffee Bar, I knew I had found nirvana for Justin. Not only could he make any kind of coffee drink, in any size, he could have it anytime he wanted or at least anytime he wanted when he was visiting me. When the new baby arrives, he’ll need all the coffee, all the time so I knew this would be a hit. I decided to surprise Justin by whipping up a specialty Coffee recipe, which I could also enjoy. Ahem. This White Chocolate & Peppermint Mocha Coffee Recipe is perfect for the holidays. If you want to serve it to kids, leave out the coffee and you have white chocolate peppermint hot chocolate.
The Ninja Coffee Bar has some amazing features so I can use it in all my our coffee drinks. Using Auto-iQ™ One-Touch Intelligence it allows you to choose a size, . It draws just the right amount of water needed from the reservoir, based on the brew size (from cup to travel mug to carafe) and brew type you select. The brew type is based on Thermal Flavor Extraction™ In scientific terms, Precision Water Delivery is added to automated controls for Calibrated Temperature, Pre-infusion, Coffee Saturation, and Flavor Richness. To the rest of us, it means they used science to create delicious coffee. There’s an Over-Ice brew that is concentrated to not lose it’s flavor when watered down with ice, a specialty brew that is used like espresso, along with classic brew and rich brew, designed to stand up to milk and extra additions.
Other features include:
Drip Stop—This stops the flow of coffee from the brew basket. You can pour a cup in mid-brew without a big mess.
Multi-Serve Cup Platform— Simply pull this down and you can brew directly into your favorite mug or to go cup.
Double-Walled Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Carafe— The vacuum insulated carafe will keep coffee hot for up to two hours. That’s great for those upcoming holiday parties!
Easy-Fill Brew Basket— This can be easily removed for cleaning or just slide out to fill with coffee.
Double-Sided Scoop— The measurements on the scoop handle are customized for single and carafe servings. This helps brew a consistent cup, travel mug or carafe and allows you to use more or less coffee to customize to your taste.
Removable Water Reservoir —with Auto-Metering Makes it easy to know when you need to refill and saves the hassle of worrying about constant measuring and refilling.
Programmable Delay Brew— Hate mornings? Me too. This allows us to preset to Ninja to brew automatically up to 24 hours in advance.
Intelligent Clean Cycle Indicator —This feature alerts you when your brewer senses that it needs to be cleaned. How handy is that?
An Optional Permanent Filter —This reusable filter preserves the natural coffee oils and small coffee particles to provide a robust flavor, similar to what you would experience when using a French press. It does produce a natural sediment, so if you prefer not to have this, you can use disposable filters. Ninja recommends #4 cone paper filters.

Do you have a coffee fanatic at your house? What is your favorite coffee drink?
They hubs makes a great coffee for me. Ill have to have him make this for me. Thank you for sharing.
This looks absolutely amazing! I will have to make this for my teen, she loves anything chocolate and pretty sure minty type chocolate is one of her faves!
I was just at BlogHer Food where Ninja was previewing their Coffee Bar and I could never get close enough to see it! I love that the water reservoir is removeable. I’ve read horror stories about another brand’s machine that does not have this and what can build up inside the machine.
I know someone on my list that would love one of these for Christmas! What a handy machine for a coffee lover!
That is one cool looking coffee machine you got there! I love the clean indicator feature. I always forget to clean my coffee machine!
that sounds like a yummy combination. I would love to try
I’ve considered the Ninja Coffee Bar. I am still considering it actually. I love my Keurig but I’m tired of it breaking and needing replaced once a year.
I love to start my day with a delicious flavored coffee. The Ninja Coffee Bar would be a great Christmas gift.
I love my ninja blender. I didn’t know they had a coffee maker!
I love my Ninja blender, so I’m sure this would be a great addition. And I’m with Justin…coffee is always a great idea.
What a festive drink! Right up my alley, I would make it iced! Yum!
I’m not a coffee drinker at all but that looks and sounds just delicious! My husband loves coffee of all kinds and I bet he would love this also!
The coffee looks so good. I love peppermint and I can’t wait to try your recipe.
wait, ninja makes a brewer?! How did I not know this! I have got to get my hands on one of these bad boys!
I love my Ninja Brewer! It makes the best coffee from an at home brewer!
I am the coffee fanatic in my house. This looks like a tasty recipe.
I am one of the few who do not live at Starbucks, I brew all my own coffee, and I love this! I love the way you brew!
Mitch
That sounds so amazing. I need to try this recipe for sure!
Oh my this sounds like a such a treat – I can just imaging supping on a nice glass right now. x
I love fancy coffee drinks, especially during the holiday season, and this recipe looks perfect. We have had great success with Ninja products and I am really wanting to give their new coffee bar a go.
Nicely done! I just reviewed the same machine, and I’ll admit, I was really afraid of it for a while because it’s got so many parts!
Oh man, now this is my kind of coffee! I’d be pretty excited to have one of these in the morning. That Ninja Coffee Bar is the coolest!
God bless the Ninja. Those are some top quality products. I have one of the blenders and they are fantastic.
This is my absolute favorite hot drink EVER! Oh my goodness, now I need one…
This coffee sounds wonderful. I do a lot of peppermint, sometimes even using fresh peppermint.
Now that’s a holiday drink I can get with. I’m going to add this to my Christmas brunch menu.
Wow, way to jazz up the coffee!
My husband is more of a hot, plain coffee drinker, but I can appreciate this recipe – thank you!
Wow – this looks great. I am always a sucker for fancy coffee creations.
That sounds so delicious! Peppermint and chocolate is my favorite combination. I’d love to start every morning with this.
