For the next few weeks I will be stepping out of the kitchen to allow some of my friends to showcase their yummy recipes. Frugal Cooking has the image of being tasteless or “yucky.” Amanda, at One Momma Saving Money, shatters that myth with her Cinnamon Sugar Crispies.
This is super easy to make and tastes like a homemade elephant ear. I grew up with my mom making these for the holidays. My family loves them too. I just made a batch for us to munch on while on the road tomorrow!
Ingredients
1 frozen or refrigerated Pie Crust
1/4 cup Melted Butter
2 teaspoons each Cinnamon and Sugar
Instructions
Cut access pie crust into small squares
Brush on melted butter
Sprinkle on the cinnamon/sugar combo
Put in oven and bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees ( I use a silicone liner for easy clean up)
