The recipe for these basic peanut butter cookies was handed down to me by my mom. As I got older I added the Hershey’s kiss because all peanut butter should have chocolate!
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
24 Hershey’s kisses, unwrapped
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Drop dough by the spoonful on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 7-9 minutes. As soon as cookies are removed from the oven add one Hershey’s Kiss to the middle of each cookie. Let cool on a wire rack or plate.
