An interview with Jen Singer

This is a sponsored post but I only share content I feel would be interesting and relevant to my readers. As always, all opinions are my own.

Do you ever have trouble trying to #Getitdone? As busy women we try to juggle all sorts of responsibilities, from our job to our family to our home life. Sometimes it seems like there is not enough hours in the day to accomplish it all. Today I am interviewing Jen Singer, mom, author, blogger ,entrepreneur andย the creator of MommaSaid.net, a virtual community for mothers that has grown to reach tens of thousands of visitors around the world. She is discussing how she uses Microsoft Office Home Premium 365 to help her manage her busy schedule and โ€œget it done.โ€

I hope you enjoy the interview with Jen and learn some practical tips to help make the holidays easier. ย Have you tried Microsoft Office Premium 365? What are your best time management suggestions on juggling work, family and home?

  6. Great tips, thanks for sharing the interview and I’ve always said If you can get it done today don’t push it off to tomorrow.. that has always been a saying around my house in Germany and it stuck with me.. kind of my problem sometimes that I keep going and going till I drop

  7. It is hard to get done everything that needs doing in the course of a day. It is nice to learn new ways to get what needs doing done.

  8. Thanks for the tips. I definitely could use tips on how to get it done, especially around the holidays. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I did this interview too. Of course mine isn’t posted yet!

  10. I have it and really like it a lot. I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it but I love it! However with time management in general, I have so much to learn!

  11. sounds like a fun contest, thank you for the tips!

  12. These are some great tips. I always find it hard getting everything done.

  13. Great interview. I will definitely #getitdone this holiday season thanks to your tips. I like #getitdone day. My kids are not a fan of making time to get things done. I also like the tip to remember your limitations and it is okay to say no.

  14. I’m always interested in new ways to get organized. I’ll have to look into some of these ideas, especially the #getitdone contest.

  15. Great interview. I am always looking for ways to stay organized. Love hearing all of the tips and the software that was talked about.

  16. I haven’t upgraded my Microsoft yet. I wish it would help me get it done-LOL! Love, love, love get it done day. I’ll have to try having my own.

  17. I love the idea of a Get it done day! I am always looking for ways to stay on top of it all. I’m still old school and write lists and post it notes are my friend!

  18. I wish I had some time-management tips, the only thing I really do is that I don’t put anything off… I try to do what I can, as soon as I can.

  19. Great tips and software sounds good

  20. LOL Working while going to the bathroom is something all mothers know well. So many great tips that Jen Singer has shared with us. Thank you so much for this review.

  21. Wow that is a great giveaway! My tip is to learn to say no to people, it prevents you from over committing to things and being stressed out.

  22. Great tips! I was so excited when cloud servers became available. My son had lost a large report on a crashed computer and we had to get it done over night. The cloud server saved many crazy, stressful situations with homework mishaps over the years. That is a fabulous tip. ๐Ÿ™‚

  23. The best tip I have is to say NO. It’s the most difficult thing to do, but as I’m getting older (and maybe a little wiser?) I’m learning the value of NO.

  24. I’m with some of the other commenters – it’s okay to say no. This year I volunteered to do mashed potatoes and a dessert – fairly easy, but it needs to be enough for at least 2 dozen people. Now that the kids are a little older, it should be easier (and get easier as the years go).

  25. Saying No is my problem. I get myself into more than I can do!

  26. Awesome tips. I TRY not to bite off more than I can chew, which it totally easier said than done!

  27. Great tips and a great software to to have it all done in a timely fashion.

  28. I’m having trouble getting it done right now. I’m supposed to be fast asleep at this time but I actually fell asleep at my computer and just woke up. I still have to print out more papers to do my bulletin board tomorrow.

  29. Sounds like a great software and that trips sounds like one I need to win. I haven’t been back to NY since we left 2 years ago and I miss it. ๐Ÿ™

  30. Sounds like the software I need to get me organized!

  31. Sounds like wonderful software and useful for getting stuff scheduled and getting it done!

  32. It’s on my wishlist to try this software! Hopefully with my next computer purchase. Great tips!

  33. With 3 kids, I am constantly juggling many activities at once whether dinner, soccer, piano practice along with family get-togethers. It never ends. Thanks for sharing these great organizational tips, I need all the help I can get. ๐Ÿ™‚

  34. I love the idea of “Get it done day”!

  35. Love these tips… I am already getting lost in my crazy-ness with the holidays coming up. This comes with awesome timing, great interview ๐Ÿ˜‰

  36. My best tip is don’t commit to more than you are sure you can get done. Remember to say no.
