Cheesy Garlic Ranch Chicken Strips Recipe

This is a partnered post with DataRank and Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. All opinions are my own.

My sneaky way to entice my children to eat vegetables (besides pureeing them and adding them to recipes) was to prepare a bowl of Hidden Valley Ranch dip, add a pile of mini carrots, green pepper strips and broccoli and cauliflower pieces to a plate on the side. It worked; the kids dived into the veggies with gusto. What I didn’t realize was Hidden Valley Ranch prepared Salad dressing can also be used to make tasty main dishes like this Cheesy Roasted Garlic Ranch chicken strips recipe. With only a few ingredients, this recipe can be put together in minutes, making it a keeper. Plus, I know my children will never turn up their noses at chicken strips!
Gluten Free Chicken Strips 2

I started by adding a cup of Roasted Garlic Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing to a bowl, then adding shredded cheese. I crushed gluten free pretzels to use as my coating. Begin by cutting up chicken into strips. (Tip: The easiest chicken to use in this recipe is boneless, skinless chicken.  If you use slightly frozen chicken in this recipe, it is easier to cut.)

Roll the chicken in the prepared Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing and cheese mixture, then dip the chicken in the crushed pretzel mixture, being sure to coat all sides of the strip.  Bake the chicken at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink on the inside.  (Tip: To make dipping the chicken strips easier, place the pretzels in a shallow bowl. If you line your baking sheet with foil, you’ll also save a ton of time in cleanup!)
