Chocolate Tea Truffles Recipe

Chocolate Tea Truffles
Living in the South, I have grown up knowing iced tea was the king (or queen?) of drinks. I’ve had people ask me if we sit around on our large porches sipping tea.  It’s a great mental image, but, unfortunately, I only have a small front porch and my tip sipping is usually spent by grabbing my tea, placing into a to-go mug and running errands.  When I received samples of Tradewinds Tea, I decided, “Why not savor our tea by trying a new recipe?”  The kids were skeptical.  They insisted, “Hey, we like Tradewinds Tea, Mom, why are you going to ruin it by using it in a recipe?”  I decided to ignore the skeptics and make my recipe anyway.  I think they were glad I did after I was finished. Since it only requires a small amount of tea, the kids were able to enjoy their tall glasses of sweet tea, albeit not on the front porch, and try a sweet treat instead.  I would like to hint to my children these truffles would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift.  Want to surprise your family with this tempting treat?
