Crockpot Sausage Cheese Dip #glutenfree #recipe

Dip
We received Way Better Chips for review purposes. All opinions are our own.

I am a huge fan of easy to prepare foods, especially if I am hosting a party. I don’t want to spend all my time in the kitchen while everyone else is enjoying the day.  When I first tasted this dip at a teacher Christmas party, I knew I had to have the recipe.  As soon as I was informed it only took three ingredients and could be made in the crockpot, I rushed home to prepare it for my family.  It was a major hit and I’ve been taking it to potlucks and serving it at parties ever since, always returning with an empty bowl, much to my daughter’s disgust. “I want it for myself,” she informs me.  After finding out she had Celiac, she was depressed. She couldn’t participate in the evenings out with friends anymore because she couldn’t eat the food.  I wanted to surprise her with her favorite dip and chips so she could watch movies with friends.  Here’s the simple dip recipe that will please everyone.

A delicious dip with only three ingredients that can be prepared ahead in the crockpot.
Ingredients
  • 1 package (16 ounces) sausage –check label to be sure it is gluten free
  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 package (16 ounces) processed cheese (think of the brand that starts with a V)
Instructions
  1. Cook sausage and drain. Meanwhile, cut the processed cheese into cubes. Add the sausage, processed cheese and tomatoes to a crock pot. Stir until combined. Cook on low for four hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with veggies and chips.

We’ll be enjoying our dip with a variety of Way Better Tortilla Chips. Not only are they gluten free, Kosher, Vegan and Non-GMO certified, they come in  flavors–Black Bean, Naked Blues, Sweet Potato, Multi Grain, Sweet Chili, Unbeatable Blues and Punkin Cranberry.  And, yep, they taste good too!
