Before we became a C.O. (cat owners), I didn’t realize each cat had their own distinct personality. We have three cats who share living space with us and each of them is totally different. Sassie, our oldest cat, is eleven. When we went to adopt her we were told, “Don’t get her. She has a weird personality.” I was skeptical and took her home with me anyway, thinking, “How weird can she be?” I have since cautioned people, “If you think the owners of a cat are weird and they tell you the cat has a weird personality, beware.” This is a cat that would lie in wait for my daughter and chase her through the house. When we were not at home she would drag my daughter’s pajamas into the family room and leave them. She has since mellowed out over the years but we are still wary when she gets a certain look in her eye.
Mitzie, our two year old, was rescued from a local shelter. We expected a low maintenance cat this time, but found we had rescued the cat that constantly pulls out her fur. After several trips to the vet and various suggestions, none of which worked in the long term, the vet suggested we let her wear a shirt. Visitors to our home spend a lot of time asking, “Why does the cat wear a shirt?”
Okie, our one year old, was rescued from a litter of kittens someone had dumped on the side of a busy road. My daughter and her friend stopped and tried to catch them and he was the only one they were able to grab. While all our cats are spoiled, Okie is probably the most. When he hears me call him, he runs through the house and climbs into my lap. He is one curious cat!

I wish I knew what our kitty was thinking. Sometimes she just sits there and stares at us. I used to used Royal Canin when we got our Maltese from the pet store. It was what they used, we’ve since then switched to Blue Buffalo which they prefer. Royal Canin is pretty good though.

I am a cat person. I can’t imagine not having a cat in the house. Our cat is my baby and I have had her for 16 years. She is so spoiled and I love it.

I have two cats myself and they are complete opposites. They both do kind of think they are dogs though. They like to play fetch. lol.

Oh yeah they each have their own personality that is for sure. One is all over the place and never shuts up lol the other is ocd. Food plays a huge part, both of them got crystals from a so called good food, pfft right!
Cats are so smart that sometimes I think they are plotting how to take over the world. I miss having a cat in our home since my son is so allergic to them.
Awww, so adorable! My kitties are super curious too! They are always into everything. My cat Smokie was trying to get into a box 4 times his height today. Let’s just say jumping… isn’t his strong suit.

I wonder if my one cat could eat this, everything I buy makes her sick so I make her own food. She was extremely abused and has a lot of issues from what she went through, digestion is one of them. I make her food, my other cat can eat anything but I still try to keep it as healthy for her as possible

Cat’s definitely have their own unique personalities! My first cat was mellow and laid back!! The one I have now–she complains bitterly if I don’t do what she wants when she wants it (loudly I might add)-She also has a tendency to treat me like her kitten-batting me if I am, in her opinion, misbehaving!
