Easy Candle Vase Candle Holders

Summer is the perfect time for entertaining.  If you are planning a wedding, an outdoor party or event, or just want to have a romantic dinner with your significant other, you’ll want light. Soft candlelight adds a festive touch, but purchasing lots of candle holders can be expensive.  The solution? These easy diy candle holders that use only one to two items!  What do you need? Those old vases we all have stashed in a cabinet or drawer somewhere, and if you want to get fancy, a matching bowl or saucer.
Make Your Own Candle Holders

Here’s how to make your own glass candle holders

Ready to add some new stylish candles holders to your decor? Ok, go get a bunch of those old vases that you have been keeping for years but don’t know what to do with. How about the one that held the lovely roses that your husband bought for you on Valentine’s Day in 1999?

Now all you have to do to make the candle holder is turn the vase up-side down. Put a candle on top…and waa, laa – a new candle holder. Love it! If you will be using it outside, it’s better to use a vase with a wider bottom for stability.  Here are some vases I had sitting in my very messy, unorganized closet.  And, here are my new stylish candlestands I made simply by turning the vases  upside down!

For this one, I just stacked 2 smaller bowls that I found in my stash. If you need more stability and want to use it permanently, super glue the bowl to the vase.

These are easy to make and come together in minutes. When you get tired of a combination, you can always replace the saucer or dish on top of the vase for a fresh new look.
