Easy Spaghetti Pie Recipe And Freezing Instructions

I have a super secret mom confession. Some nights I do not want to cook.  I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way. When those evenings hit, I like to have a backup plan; freezer meals.  This easy spaghetti pie recipe is the perfect choice. Whenever the urge hits, I make two of these pies; one for dinner and one to store in the freezer to use for a later date. Not only is it a great time saver, it’s much cheaper than eating out.

Make Ahead Freezer Meal Spaghetti Pie

Easy Spaghetti Pie Recipe:

I’m all about shortcuts in the kitchen. I took a classic family favorite spaghetti pie recipe (which is a tradition to serve on cold winter nights) and made it easier by substituting RAGÚ® Homestyle Pasta Sauce. Here’s what you need to make it:

To freeze the spaghetti pie: assemble the pie as directed, but do not cook. Cover tightly with foil and freeze up to one month. To prepare, remove the pie from the freezer and allow to thaw in the refrigerator. Bake as directed above.
