It has been a challenge finding Gluten Free Goodies that appeal to a young adult since my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. This June, we have compiled a roundup of some Gluten Free treats that appeal to people of all ages and included Brittany’s take on all the products.
1. Lucy’s Cookies ($4.69 a box)
Created by Dr. Lucy Gibney when she discovered her child had severe food allergies, these cookies are made in a dedicated bakery and are Gluten Free,
Vegan, Non-GMO and All Natural. They contain No Peanuts, No Tree Nuts, Og Trans Fat, Omg Cholesterol and have all ingredients tested. The cookies are available in a variety of flavors including Maple Bliss, Sugar, Chocolate Chip, GingerSnap, Oatmeal and more. They also manufacture brownies, which are great for making into Brownie Sundaes, and Snack N’Go packages.
Brittany: “There are many gluten free sweets on the market now, and Lucy’s are some of the best. The oatmeal cookies are perfect with peanut butter, and the chocolate are perfect with milk, but the chocolate chip cookies have both the taste and texture of the real thing! The cookies can be found in convenient travel packs, perfect for packing in a lunchbox or carrying in your purse for on the go. Also be sure to try Lucy’s brownies! They’re gluten free, egg free, peanut free, and tree nut free- the perfect allergy friendly snack if you have a sweet tooth!”
2. Spartos Protein Water Drinks ($2.49 each)
Spartos Protein Water is available in six different flavors, three made with pure cane sugar, Blueberry+ pomegranate, Orange+Pineapple, Blackberry+Yuzu, and three sugar free varieties, Strawberry+Coconut, Grape+Lemonade and Jackfruit+Watermelon. They are balanced with water, protein, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and antioxidants to help refresh and revitalize and are good for everyone from diabetics to seniors to children and families.
Brittany: “Spartos Protein water not only contains protein; It also contains all four essential electrolytes. For someone looking for serious rehydration after a workout or a long day outdoors, look no further than Spartos Protein water! Spartos drinks are also handy for picky eaters or others who are likely to get less protein than their body needs, such as those with dietary restrictions. Spartos comes in six flavors. Three are sweetened with sugar, and three of the flavors are sugar free. The drinks are best served ice cold.”
3. Clif Bars Kit’s Organic Fruit and Nut Bars ($1.99 each)
The newest addition to the Clif Bar line up, these Fruit and Nut bars come in four flavors, Cashew, Berry Almond, Chocolate Almond Coconut and Peanut Butter. They are certified organic, gluten free, soy free and diary free. The Clif Bar company policy is “Food, made right, makes the world a better place.”
Brittany: “Clif Bars makes a variety of protein, energy, and snack bars for people looking to eat a bit healthier on the go. They have recently introduced Kit Fruit+ Nut bars; gluten, soy, and dairy free snack bars. These bars are made with minimal ingredients, and they’re delicious! Perfect for an on-the-go breakfast or snack, Kit Fruit+ Nut Bars come in four varieties: cashew, berry almond, peanut butter, and chocolate almond coconut. All the flavors were delicious, but the cashew bar is especially worth checking into!”
4. Kate’s Farms Komplete Gluten Free Shakes ($4.29 each)
These new shakes come in three flavors, Cocoa Fudge, Vanilla Bliss and Jav’a Latte, and are the first soy free, dairy free, gluten free meal replacement shakes on the market. Containing 21 superfoods, like green tea extract, raspberries, acai and more) as well as a mixture of fruits and veggies, the shakes make eating healthy a breeze. Who knew you could mix so many healthy foods into one shake? Because they are non-GMO, Vegan and hypoallergenic, Komplete shakes can be enjoyed by everyone.
Brittany: “I hate breakfast. I have always hated breakfast. The removal from my diet of the only worthwhile breakfast foods, like pancakes, muffins, and French toast, has only made me hate breakfast more. For years, when I had to eat breakfast, I would knock down a protein shake and call it a meal. Unfortunately, many protein and meal replacement shakes aren’t gluten free, and those that are don’t taste too great. Komplete Shakes are a great replacement! They’re gluten free, taste great, and are convenient for a snack or on the go meal replacement.”

I am so sorry that you have to deal with dietary issues. So glad that there are companies that are beginning to make good things for your family!
I’ll have to share this information with a friend of mine whose son is on a gluten free diet.
I wish they are available in my area… 🙁
Oh I really hope I find the Kit’s bars somewhere. They sound perfect for me 🙂
I will definitely have to look for the Spartos protein water. I like to have a protein drink before my morning workout since I find it hard to eat then, but even protein shakes are a little thick for my stomach that early. These would be perfect.
I love when you find gluten free products.. the cookies look amazing and don’t look gluten free at all.. WOW… Thanks for sharing, lots of great products that I had never heard of

We love Lucy’s, but haven’t tried any of the other brands. I’m looking forward to checking them out.
I do love this type of option as I love the convenience of just eating or drinking something that does not have a lot of preparation time involved. I’ve always loved drinking a breakfast shake to start my day.
I wonder if they have gluten free in a sugar free version that I can eat. I did find some somewhere that were sweetened with agave. I am going to go check them out and see what their ingredients are. Thanks for the review.
Some of those look good for a healthy snack or outing for our family. Thanks for the review!
I’ll have to check out some of these! I’ve been trying to give up gluten and it is much more challenging than I thought it would be!
