This past week, we got the chance to visit the Best Buy Tech Home at North Point Mall in Atlanta. What is the Tech Home, you ask? Let me fill you in. The Tech Home is a home like environment inside the mall, featuring all of the latest and greatest in home technology that Best Buy offers. At the Tech Home, you have the opportunity to learn about the latest in CE and connected Home by taking a home tour with one of Best Buy’s own Blue Shirt or Geek Squad agents. The Best Buy Blue Shirt employees or Geek Squad agents will guide you through the Tech Home, explaining the products found throughout the house. From the front porch to the bedroom to a smart kitchen, you’ll get all the info you need to make your purchasing decisions. I’m definitely a try-before-you-buy type of gal, so seeing things in action? Pretty sweet.
What kind of tech will you find at the Tech Home? All kinds. One of our favorites was the new Orbi™ Whole Home Wi-Fi System from NETGEAR®. The Blue Shirt who showed it to us and explained it had actually just bought it for his own home, and he couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
