Halloween came a little early to the cats this year with the arrival of their Pet GiftBox. As usual, they could not wait to get into the box and were pawing the toys out before I could remove them. Thanks, catnip! This month’s selection included the cutest Halloween “boo-dana” and I spent quite a while chasing cats around and trying to put it on them. Unfortunately for me, the bandana had gotten a small spritz of catnip spilled on it and the cats were more interested in licking, biting or rolling on top of the bandana than trying it on for pictures. Of course, even if it hadn’t had the advantage of catnip, my cats are never sit still long enough for me to take pictures.
Also included in our package this month were three Dr. Daniel’s Halloween Catnip Toys. These cute toys, filled with 100% catnip, came in the shape of a ghost, a pumpkin and a mouse. The cats went crazy over these treats and spent hours rolling around over the floor, playing happily. Dr. Daniel’s has been making “quality animal products since 1878” and my cats are in perfect agreement with that fact!
Daisy was especially happy with the Vo-Toys Tricksters Lattice Balls. They came in a pack of four and each ball contains a small bell inside. making them easier to find when one of the cats rolls a ball under a chair, the sofa or the television cabinet. Please tell me I am not the only person who spends a large chunk of my time retrieving toys for the pets.
The Spot Feather Wand Boa makes a great interactive playtime for the cats. I’ve been dangling it in front of them and laughing as they try to swat it around. Rounding out our Pet GiftBox this month was a package of Cats In the Kitchen Pumpkin Jack Splash. This is a grain free wet Tuna in Pumpkin Soup recipe. The vet has informed us that our oldest cat needs to be placed on a softer diet so I plan to see if Tuna in Pumpkin Soup appeals to her. I’ll let you know how it goes.
The holidays are almost here and a Pet GiftBox would be a great gift
