My children have decided when I grow old I am going to be the “Crazy Cat Lady.” They have envisioned me driving a mini van with a sticker or me on the back surrounded by lots of little cat stickers. “Forget about having a sticker for us,” they complain, “It will only be cats.” I admit our three cats are pampered and spoiled, but, as I tell my kids, “They are a lot less costly than my kids and quieter too.” My daughter is in the running for junior crazy cat lady. She has adopted three cats that live with her and volunteers as a cat butler at a local animal shelter.
When World’s Best Cat litter sent me the Crazy Cat Lady Kit, I decided to embrace my inner cat lady and share some of my favorite cat photos and stories with you. Our cat, Mitzie, was adopted from a local shelter when she was a kitten. When we stepped into the cat room to take a look around, she climbed the side of a cage, began meowing and trying to reach us with her paw. We had her brought out so we could play with her and she took right to us, acting like she had always been a part of the family. We took her home and discovered that she was scared of everyone else. After two and a half years, she still runs and hides whenever we have visitors. Since she has a skin condition and licks her fur off, she often wears a shirt. We have her dressed for Halloween in this picture and she is not impressed with our attempt to make her a cowgirl.

I learned that there is a lavender-scented cat litter available. I have never heard of this before, and not sure if a cat’s finicky nose would tolerate this, but you never know.
(FOREST SCENTED CLUMPING CAT LITTER) is one type they offer and I never knew it comes in scented like that.
