Can you believe the holidays are here? It’s time the hustle and bustle of Christmas parties, meeting up with old friends and far flung relatives, and trying to find unique, thoughtful gifts for everyone on my Christmas list. I want my presents to show I took into consideration their interests and found something they would enjoy. My list has been easier to manage since World Market came to our area. I seriously love that store and so do my children. They have been dragging me into the store since it opened showing me the food items on their wish lists. (Can you say stocking stuffers?) I began by lining a basket with a festive tablecloth. Then I added plenty of Downton Abbey products–a lovely teapot, mug and serving knife. No tea party would be complete without goodies so I added two boxes of scone mix, a jar of Mrs. Bridges Marmalade, Walker’s Shortbread, a package of tea and some small gift wrapped chocolates. I placed a matching napkin in the mug as the finishing touch. Voila! Instant tea party!

We have a World Market close to us and I love that store. Great gift ideas are always to be found and I love some of the specialty candy they carry. The “Do The Downton” Tea Party sounds like it will be a lot of fun!

This is such a great idea. I have so many friends and family who would love to receive a gift basket like this one for the holidays. I think gifts that are made are so much more unique and personal.
I have to admit I have never heard of them and I’m not really a fan of Downton Abbey that being said I can definitely appreciate the beauty of that tea pot! Lovely! xx

I’ve never been to a World Market though…. I dont know that we have one close.
I hardly ever get to go there because it’s not in my town, but I can spend a whole afternoon wandering in there and YES to their food section. I have discovered the neatest treats back there!
I love to receive edible gift baskets at the holidays. They really are one of my favorite gifts to get. I haven’t seen Downton Abbey, but I hear good things about it all the time!

I really love shopping at World Market. I actually picked up a few Christmas ornaments not too long ago.
