Our cats were sure they had been good this year. Obviously they needed presents under the tree with the rest of the family. Thankfully, their Pet GiftBox arrived on Christmas Eve. Normally our cats have a good time “helping” us unwrap presents, sitting in any box they can find, attacking the wrapping paper, dragging away bows. This year they were distracted by their Pet GiftBox. After all it includes goodies and a box. What more can a cat ask for?
This month’s Pet GiftBox had a holiday theme and included the following treats:
A Temptations Snacky Snowman Toy and Treats: This was a favorite of our cat, Okie, who learned wiggling the cute plastic snowman would dispense a chicken flavored Temptations treat. Okie is a cat who can put away some treats when given a chance! In the future I will only add a few treats at a time as he managed to eat the entire (small) bag of treats I added in one play session. The Snacky Snowman is a great way to provide mental stimulation through a food puzzle. ($13.79)
A Holidays Fur All Scented Candle: To be honest, I love my pets but don’t love the scents associated with them. Since I am a sucker for scented candles, especially around the holidays, this candle was a great addition for me. Scented with the smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and fir needles, this candle reminds me of Christmas. ($3.49)
A Winter Katz Kicker Toy: This is a favorite of our oldest cat, Sassie. It’s a long fleece covered toy, filled with 100% American catnip, that makes a crinkle sound when squeezed. She loves to lie on the floor and hug the Kicker, kicking it with her back legs. ($14.99)
A Stocking Full of Joy: This stocking was stuffed full of toys for all the cats. It included pom poms, jingle bells, a mistletoe rope, a catnip Christmas mouse and a Plush St. Nicholas. Given the amount of time the cats have spent either carrying and chasing the toys around the house, this stocking has been a hit. ($9.99)
If you are thinking of purchasing a Pet GiftBox for your pets, available for cats or dogs, I highly recommend it. We have received boxes since April and the cats have all discovered favorite toys of their own. Trix has a toy from the October Pet GiftBox he loves and carries with him all around the house. When I first read your post, I thought it said a “Fur Scented Candle” and I was kind of grossed out. I chuckled when I reread it! 🙂 I think a candle to help with pet odors is a brilliant idea! Your cats are adorable!
This is cute. I do usually get my cat, Peanut, a christmas gift. This year I got him some catnip toys. Maybe I will do something like this box next year.

I like the stocking filled with goodies. It’s fun to treat our pets to safe, quality items that will make them (and us) happy. One-at-a-time or regular subscription purchase is a nice alternative to having it your (the cat’s) way.
