The Holidays are almost upon us and it’s time to begin shopping for presents. I love celebrating with my friends and family but I hate the last minute shopping. I try to plan my presents in advance, purchasing gifts throughout the year when I see a gift I think would be well received. Inevitably, I have a last minute purchase dumped in my lap and have to rush to the store. Let’s face it; a stressed mom for the holidays is never a good thing for the rest of the family. My life (and my families) has been easier since I discovered online shopping. I can shop whenever I have a spare minute, don’t have to get dressed up, and can usually find what I want without running all over town, especially when I discover I’ve made a trip for nothing because someone has just purchased the last hot toy.
Some gifts, like my son’s request for two sheep, can’t be purchased online. My daughter’s list of regular items like clothing, shoes, and cosmetics can, making my life easier. My only concern with shopping online, besides the shipping and handling fees, is the nagging feeling I am missing out on a great deal. My solution to that dilemma? I check out the web for coupon codes. They’re a great way to save money and there are so many deals to choose from, like special codes to my favorite restaurant. Maybe with the money I save I can purchase a gift card for my stocking too!
After I find a coupon code I can use, I try to shop around online to see which stores have the best price. Sometimes I’m amazed by the difference in prices between two stores. I also check out each store’s clearance selection and look for any discounts or freebies on shipping. How do you save money on your Holiday purchases?

I do a LOT of shopping online but since I usually have Amazon credit I’ve gotten lazy & just buy everything from there. I really should be shopping around & using codes!

I always stop before I checkout of an online store and search a coupon code. It’s like a cherry on top when I find one! Love coupon codes!!

um, sheep. for a present. he probably doesn’t mean build a bear, right? LOL
i never shop online without coupon codes! i also try to look before going to say, best buy before a purchase- maybe there’s not a coupon but i can get cash back and still pick up that day. and not spend more on impulse things since i’m only picking up at customer service.
I have learned to search for coupon codes as well before making purchases online. Often times you can get a better deal on the internet, especially if you find a good code!
