I admit; I am not a fan of cold weather. If I had my way I would be lounging in a tropical climate, relaxing as someone brought me virgin Pina Coladas. Instead, I am stuck in Georgia with freezing weather that is doing a number on my skin. Today I’m sharing the beauty products I use to cope with the cold while I wait for Bryan to offer to take me to a tropical destination. I fear I might be in for a long wait! So, without further ado, here are my picks for this winter in my winter beauty guide.
Topganic Treat Hair Mask, $11 — I fight a never ending battle with dry hair. It doesn’t matter which season it is, I have issues. My hair is naturally wavy leaving me with frizzy hair too. Dry, frizzy hair; now there’s a combination everyone wants, right? This cruelty free nourishing hair mask is infused with vitamin A, Argan oil and Jojoba oil to replenish moisture and add softness and shine. Its’ thick formula and great smell make it the perfect treat for an afternoon of pampering. It’s made for daily use, but I am happy using it twice a week.
Jan Marini Holiday Exfoliator, $80– When I read this exfoliator could help me have radiant, youthful skin, I knew I had to try it. I received the gingerbread scent and found it to be to have a hint of scent. Overpowering scents leave me with a headache and unable to use them on my face. I had no problems with this. It rubs in smoothly and rinses off easily, leaving my chapped hands and feet feeling refreshed and smoother. That’s a major plus as I hate having red, chapped hands and feet.
Mia Wet Brush, $7 –When it comes to spending a lot of time on my hair in the mornings, I just say no. I’m the jump out of the shower, blow dry it for a second, run out the door type of person. Sometimes I suggest a complicated hairstyle to my stylist. She looks at me and says, “Are you really going to take the time to do this each day?” I realize I am not and we go with my basic hairstyle. That’s why I was thrilled to receive the Mia Wet Brush. I always brush my hair when it is wet and having a brush that doesn’t pull my hair out or damage my hair is the way to go. I think this one could have been invented specifically for me.
Gel Luxury Slippers, $39–Winter leaves me with dry, cracked heels. Not only do they hurt, they look and feel terrible. I tried using a heel cream, which helps, but leaves me sliding down the hall, colliding with cats and kids. These slippers are made to be slipped on daily for 30 days, for 20-30 minutes at a time. The inner gel lining is infused with 7 therapeutic botanicals and oils to help soften feet. Designed to be worn for light indoor use as part of your beauty routine, these slippers are comfortable, although it did take me a little while to get used to the lining which fits around my foot and feels different than normal slippers. I love being able to get softer feet without the dreaded slipping and sliding!
Scalisi Skincare Eye Cream $55– One thing I’ve noticed as I get older is the appearance of tiny lines around my eyes, especially when I smile. Laugh lines? Hardly! I think they are more of an annoyance. This cream is designed to reduce eye puffiness and visible signs of crow’s feet. This thick cream rubs in easily and only takes a small amount on each eye. There’s no strong scent, nor have I been bothered by any tingling or stinging when I apply the cream. While I still notice wrinkles when I smile, this cream gives my skin a smooth appearance and can easily be applied before makeup.
What products are you using this winter?
I received review products to facilitate this post, but all opinions are my own.

I get the cracked heel thing in the winter too. I’d love to try the slippers!

I’m the same. Not a winter fan at all. I think I could really benefit from a hair mask like pictured. My poor hair is suffering!
I love the slippers. My feet are always in great condition but I still like the idea behind these slippers.
These look like things that I need to pamper myself with. This weather and my hectic schedule have drained me and I need some beauty TLC. The Topganic Treat Hair Mask is the first item on my wishlist to try!
