I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh B’Gosh. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
It’s back to school time and that means hungry kids arriving home after school! One of my favorite quick treats is this smooth fruit salad with a delicious light and flavorful dressing. You can use any types of fruit, canned, fresh or frozen. I particularly like it with honey dew melon and cantaloupe, but the kids prefer apples, bananas and pineapple. Either way, it’s easy to make and sure to be a hit. Did I mention it is gluten free so everyone in the family can enjoy it?
Of course we couldn’t forget back to school shopping time! New pencils, new backpacks, new lunchboxes…and most importantly, new clothes to rock their first day of school! That’s why we packed the kiddos up in the van and headed down to the OshKosh B’Gosh store in Calhoun to get them some fancy new outfits for their school year. With a little kindergarten girl, a fifth grade boy, and a seventh grade boy, we knew that they would need some tough clothes that could stand up to playground fun. But the kids are all about looking “cool,” so they had to be stylish too.
That’s where OshKosh B’Gosh came in! We spent an hour browsing the store, looking for outfits that fit into the school dress code, the kid’s stipulations, and their mom’s stipulations as well. Luckily, the store delivered, and we were able to get plenty of new outfits that can go from work to school to play! Little A was happiest about her pink tennis shoes, which she couldn’t wait to try out on her bike. Meanwhile, the boys were thrilled with their shorts, which come in fun colors. This fall, OshKosh has hot new B’Gosh Blue jeans, overalls, and their black, indigo and white collection.
OshKosh sells up to a size 12, so you can get clothes for young people of all ages in the same store! When you have multiple kids, you know how difficult shopping for all of them can be.
And you can help needy children too!
OshKosh B’gosh wants all kids to have what they need for school, from blue jeans to books! That’s the inspiration behind the nation launch of the “B’gosh Jeanius Campign”. OshKosh B’gosh, in partnership with K.I.D.S./ Fashion Delivers, Inc., and DonorsChoose.org will give customers the opportunity to donate a new pair of jeans or make a cash donation to a students in need this school year. All denim donated from July 28 through September 16, 2015, will be delivered to local children in need through K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, while cash donations will be dispersed to local DonorsChoose.org. The Carters Charitable foundation will match all cash donations up to $50,000 and all denim donations with a new item of clothing. Give kids a leg up! Donate a new pair of blue jeans or make a cash donation at the register.
