  1. Who knew all the things dogs were allergic to? Luckily mine only begs for tortilla chips and french fries. LOL!!

  2. I didn’t think avocado would be on the list! Maybe I’m forgetting but I felt like avocado was an ingredient in one of my old dog food brands. It’s good to know though since we have an avocado tree in our yard.

  3. This is awesome, thank you for this. So many people don’t realize that there are quite a few human foods that are very bad for dogs. I’m glad there are people like you sharing this for all!

  4. I don’t have a dog but always thought it was just chocolate. This is a really helpful post.

  5. Thank you for sharing the infographic. My fur baby meals are her kibble soaked in soup stock or with a little gravy. The food in the list are things he really does not like anyway. I am sharing this with my niece. Her beagle (named Tofu) is a voracious eater!

  6. This is great to know. My dog is pretty picky anyway

  7. This infographic is great. I wonder about the grapes though. I think that would be in super high doses because I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and every single one of them was a grape thief lol

  8. This is great info! I have had a dog all of my life and I honestly didn’t know some of these!

  9. This is so helpful and important to know! We have two dogs and have had to stop people when visiting from letting a piece of chocolate fall on the ground, saying the dogs will get it. Um, no they will not! It is very important to be educated on these things.

  10. This is awesome information for any dog owner. There is a lot of people that don’t know dogs can’t eat everything humans eat so this list can really save a dogs life. I will have to share this with my sister and friends. Thanks for sharing the information.

  12. Great article to increase awareness – we are big dog lovers in my household.
The only non-meat foods we feed our beagle are green beans and occasionally rice.
We also use Hills Science Diet food as a staple.

  13. Oh wow even milk and coffee oh wow I didn’t know that at all

  14. Every dog owner should print out this list and keep it on their refrigerator so that they are aware of what foods are toxic. I always need to remind my kids not to feed scraps to the dog.

  15. I was surprised by some of the foods on this list. I will have to share this with my friend. She just got a new dog.

  16. I need to print this out for my fridge. I give my dog little morsels here and there but the grand kids are bad about giving him food without asking or letting me know what it is.

  17. I didn’t know about the garlic. It seems like you have to constantly be on your guard.

  18. It’s crazy to think that some peanut butters aren’t safe anymore. I try to keep with Skippy because they don’t use xylitol.

  19. We try to not give our dog human food. She is a scent hound, so it’s much easier said than done.

  20. Thanks for posting this. There are so many things out there dogs should not be putting in their mouth.

  21. I am so glad you posted this list. So many people think dogs can handle the same diet as humans, but some of our food can be poisonous to your fur babies.

  22. I am very careful about what I feed my dogs. I usually stick to leftover meat as long as it has no onion or garlic with it. And the new thing to watch is peanut butter. Some of them are now made with xylitol.

  23. I will be sharing this list with all my friends. Some of this I never knew and I know they will want to be informed. We don’t want to do anything to hurt our family members.

  24. This is so great! Our dog has allergies on top of the general dog no-no’s so we’re really careful with him (and he can’t have leftovers or anything anyway), but this is a fantastic reminder!

  25. This is great information for new or veteran dog owners. It’s amazing how some of the foods we can eat so easily are toxic to dogs.

  26. Just got a new puppy so I definitely am going to keep this list close. I do not know avocados are poisonous to dogs. I will definitely not be feeding her any of those then.

  27. This is a great graphic! Dogs should never be given table food, in my opinion, but if it is done, owners can be safe about it with this.

  28. I have heard of most of these but yeast dough is a new one for me. Good to know…our pets are our babies!

  29. Great list. Our dog can’t have most “people” food, it upsets her tummy, but she CAN have canned pumpkin to help combat the tummy issues 🙂
