“Is there anything romantic about dusting?” All of the friends and family members I quizzed on the topic looked at me as if I had lost my mind, before shaking their head and saying, “No.” I could imagine them thinking, “If she has to ask if dusting is romantic, the spark is gone from her marriage.” They didn’t realize I had been invited to participate in the Valentine’s Se”dust”ion campaign from Endust. Truthfully, the thought made me laugh. I could imagine Bryan coming up behind me, putting his arms around me and saying, “You smell good. Are you wearing new perfume?” I’d answer, in my most coy voice, “No, it’s Endust. I’ve been dusting.” While I didn’t think this scenario was possible, if you asked my kids they would nod and say, “Sounds about right.”
A can of Endust might not be on the top of my Valentine’s Day list of presents; I’d really like a trip to a tropical island, hint, hint, but I do love a clean house. I have a stash of Endust in my cleaning cabinet I purchased on sale, which comes in handy in a household filled with kids and pets. We have so much dust I sometimes thing the kids sneak outdoors and gather dust to dump on the floor and furniture. Not only does Endust lift dirt like a magnet, I can use it on almost all my surfaces; countertops, tables, cabinets, ceiling fans, you name it. Please do not ask my family how often I dust the ceiling fans. Removing dust, dirt and allergens not only makes my home look clean, removing indoor air pollutants, especially during cold and flu season, can help us stay healthier.
I don’t recommend handing a can of Endust to your significant other for Valentine’s Day, unless it’s attached to a certificate for a cleaning service, but for any men out there, cleaning the house for your wife might would be considered romantic. I know I’d be excited to have Bryan clean the house for me. (In case you are reading this, honey, that’s a hint.) Ladies, can’t say I didn’t try to get some cleaning done for you!
What would you like to receive this Valentine’s Day?
I don’t know what I would like to receive for this Valentine’s Day. We are currently working on building us a farmhouse table so that will probably be my gift.
I’ve never herad of this before but I hate having dust everywhere not to mention cat hair. I’m very ocd about it haha
I would love for my hubby to clean for Valentine’s day 🙂
Love this post and Endust. Hope you get your trip (hint) lol
Acts of service- that’s my love language for sure. I would love a gift of house cleaning.
I second handing me a certificate for a free house cleaning! That would be a dream come true!
I wouldn’t mind having someone clean up for me. I will settle for a box of chocolates.
I loving seeing my man clean, or do dishes. It’s super sexy and a clean house surely does turn me on.
I would like to receive a Valentine’s from my kids. That would make my day.
I am such a clean freak, I really hate seeing dust and always get to it as fast as i can!
I want new headphones for Valentine’s Day. I love to listen to audible books – I need new headphones for when I walk
I’ve told my husband countless times that (from the 5 Love Languages) it fills my love cup when he helps out more around the house. He makes the mess, he should clean it. So, I would be pretty excited if he cleaned the whole house on his own without being asked.
If my husband dusted I would faint. The medical bills would outweigh the benefits of the cleaning perk. 🙂 🙂 🙂
I would love for my husband to clean my house and if it takes handing him some Endust, I am all for it. LOL. I think I would just like to have a nice dinner out and watch a good movie on TV.
I would love a clean house for Valentine’s Day. And not one *I* had to clean myself!
It would make my day if i came home to dinner made for me by my kids. That is what i want for Valentines day.
We have way more dust in places I don’t even want to look in! I don’t want my husband to clean them for Valentine’s Day, though. I’d rather we pay for a cleaning woman and go out somewhere fun!
I would love to get a back massage and chiropractor appointment. I don’t think dusting will be in the picture. LOL
I would be okay with my husband cleaning the house for me. I would love a weekend away for Valentine’s day.
I love when my husband HELPS me clean! It’s rare he does it on his own but when he helps me that’s my favorite it’s nice!
I remember when my mom used this product when I was a child and now I do the same – perfect for my dining room table!
I’d love a clean house. One that I didn’t have to do anything to get clean- that would be a great romantic gesture to me!
Oh I would love to see my husband do some cleaning!
I wish I had a husband…really wish I had one that would be awesome! Until then I gotta do my own dusting…
It always comes back to dusting! I feel like I’m doing it every day.
I would love someone to wash, fold and put away my clothes. THAT is sexy.
My Hubs has started doing the dishes… maybe I can get him dusting next.
Having a thoroughly clean house keeps me relaxed. It would be fun to clean with my bf before V-Day.
I would love a trip to the Tropical Island too. I would like to receive some me-time this Valentine’s DAY. So If I get this dusting can to my husband, I will have some Me time.. lol
I literally! LOL’ed! I wouldn’t say a can of endust is romantic, but… I would love for my hubby to clean the house. 🙂
This would only work in my house if he could clean to my standards. If not, it would just aggravate me.
I’d like to receive time. Time alone with my husband, no worries and not stress and no.. kids nagging us.
I am not sure I can find anything romantic about dusting. My husband has not dusted in forever,,or maybe even “ever”..not sure he knows what it is?
My husband has never cleaned anything in our house! LOL! I think I would faint if I saw him even wash a cup in the sink!
I am definitely more romantic when the house is clean. I think its the de-clutter, dust free look that is so sexy. lol
My husband is a dusting fanatic, believe it or not! He has his can of Endust and loves nothing better than shining up the coffee and dining room table. We all tease him about it!
Your husband should come to my house and have a chit-chat with my husband 😉 He seems to think that ‘dudes don’t clean.’
I’ll gladly let me husband dust for valentine’s day! I love a clean house too!
I have a cleaning lady for that, but my husband can give her the week of and I will gladly spend that money elsewhere 😉
There is nothing sexier than a man cleaning. At least that is why I tell my husband.
Me too. Though it usually doesn’t prompt him to turn on the sweeper lol!
