I want the best for everyone in my family, including my pets. My family may tease and say I am the Crazy Cat Person, they are as devoted to the little balls of fluff as I am. One thing I never knew before I had cats was all the problems they could have. Mitzie, our almost four-year old, has a grain allergy. My first words when the vet told me this, “I have a celiac cat to go along with my celiac kid?” Our almost thirteen year old cat, Sassie, has problems as well. We’ve been through the gauntlet with her, finding conditions I didn’t know could ever happen with cats! We’ve battled anemia, anorexia, and more. Because of their health conditions, I am extremely picky when it comes to their cat food. I need something that tastes good to them, has all the nutrients they need, and is grain free. Naturally, when offered a chance to try new grain free Feline PowerFood ™ by Only Natural Pet®, my cats gave me the paws up!
What’s different about Only Natural Pet? Formulated by a holistic vet, each piece of kibble is infused with proprietary PowerBoost™, a raw, freeze-dried blend of superfoods like green lipped mussels, sea cucumbers, probiotics and pumpkin. It’s also made in the USA with gluten-free ingredients and no grain, corn, wheat, oat and soy products are used. Meat is the number one ingredient. Formulated after ten years of experience in the pet food industry, it’s available for dogs and cats. It sounds great, but all food in our home has to pass the taste test. If you’ve ever heard someone say, “Let them alone, they will eat when they get hungry,” this does not work with Sassie, the super finicky eater. Several times over the years I have not noticed she wasn’t eating until she would try to get to the lunch meat when I opened the fridge. I poured a bowl of Only Natural Pet Feline PowerFood and it was a hit.
We also sampled their Only Natural Pet Feline PowerPate, as the vet tells us Sassie needs to eat wet food because of her age. She has always preferred dry food, but the rest of the cats were happy to eat her share.
If you are interested in trying this formula with your cat or dog, it is available to the public in early May. Think of it as a happy May Day treat.
What are your best tips for keeping your pet healthy?
I think it’s so important to feed our pets just as healthy as we feed our families. I don’t have a pet, but this looks like an amazing product!
Cats make me sick, like hacking, sneezing sick. But, I love my mommies kitties! I will share this with her, it looks like a great choice of cat food.
We go natural for our pets as well, Pam. Even the chickens! They are part of our family
We don’t have cats but I’ve been begging my husband for one! I really would like a Bengal.
I love seeing the pictures of your cats! It’s so important to give them the very best.
What pretty kitties! We love our pets so much! It’s so important to only give them the best food!
What an adorable cat! I’ll have to try this food for my cat!
that looks really good. one of my cats loves wet can food and the other won’t touch it for anything.
I had no idea cats could have allergies at all, but a grain allergy? Wow! At least you can accommodate the poor thing, glad you caught it! You would want him to suffer.
Aww, cute cats! I love cats and just adopted a cat last month who I adore. I will have to try this food for him.
Sharing your post with a good friend that is a Cat Lover. I too believe in only feeding my pets natural ingredients.
Good healthy food for our pets is the only way to go!!
I haven’t heard of the brand. I will check it out next time I buy cat food.
I’ll have to look for this. My cat is an important member of my family- and the most spoiled!
cats are so funny. I love how they determine their food instead of the humans
My little Brulee was the same way. She’s very finicky, but she loved this food.
I would like to try sea cucumbers, lol. I think. But not in cat food. 😉 Your cat looks cute paws up. 🙂
It is great that companies are making all natural foods for pets. We have a dog with a sensitive belly and many of the foods we tried gave her problems. We finally found an all natural one that treats her well!
Awww they are adorable. I have always had cats in my life. We have one, Ziggy and he is best friends with Tink our little chug dog. They play all the time and Ziggy is known to steal the dogs food.
Cute babies. Sounds like you treat them well.
Wow, this totally makes sense. We feed ourselves natural foods, why not our pets?
The husband wants to get a cat, but we have no idea what food to feed one. Thanks to this post, we now have a brand to try out!
I didn’t even know that there were such issues in cats! It sounds like your cats found the right family. They have people to love and take care of them.
Your cats are too cute!
Your cat is adorable! Feeding them natural products is important for their health!
What a cute cat! Cats have such a sensitive system. It’s awesome to find food that works well for them.
I’m so glad there are so many options out right now. This is perfect, I just love cats.
Your cats are so cute! They look like they are pretty pampered
Your cats are sooooooo cute! Our Sammy has a white fluffy belly just like your cat.
What a great line of products. I don’t have cats, but they sounds great! I only use all-natural foods for my dogs as well.
Your cats are adorable! I haven’t heard of this food before. My girl likes junky cat food she refuses go eat the good stuff. I try and she will go eat the dog food. I will have to try this!
My kitties would love this! I do love giving them extra special treats.
This food might be able to help with my ex’s cats’ weight problems. I’ll have to find out what food he’s using currently.
Always great to use products that are all-natural be it for humans or pets! 🙂
I have been trying out some new food for my cat. He’s going from kitten to cat food. I’ll have to check this out!
This sounds great! I’m a big fan of all-natural foods for my pets. There have been way too many recalls and reports of dangerous ingredients in most other foods.
As members of the family, it’s just as important to keep our pets healthy as it is for the humans. Sounds like GREAT cat food 🙂
My Daughter had an older cat that she had to cook naturally for. It would break out in a rash from the processed foods. I don’t think she tried this brand though.
