Lots of people tell me they love fall for the crisp nip in the air or the beauty of the changing leaves. I am not a fall fan. I’d be happy if the temperature stayed around 85 degrees all year round. Once the weather gets a little cooler, I pull out my wool socks and engage in the one activity that’s sure to bring a smile to my face; baking. I’m no stranger to making complicated dishes, but I learned my lesson long ago on preparing complicated dishes. My kids would usually take one look and say, “What is this? Can I have a peanut butter sandwich instead? What about chicken nuggets?”
Now, even though they have refined their palates and appreciate those complicated meals, I’d rather make cute easy dishes that other people will rave about like this Easy Goblin Feet Cookies Recipe. Serves you right, kids. This is what happens when you don’t appreciate those meals.

Easy Goblin Feet Recipe
Have you ever wondered how Goblin Feet would look? I haven’t either. However, if I had an idea that I thought they’d look like, I would imagine them to be like this simple recipe. It only has three ingredients and is semi-homemade. You can keep all three ingredients in the freezer for any last minute treats you need to make.
Here’s what you need to make them
1 package (12 ounces) green meltable candy wafers
18 peanut butter cookies, such as Nutter Butter brand
1 cup cashew halves or pieces
Here’s how to make it:
1. Follow the instructions on the candy wafer package to melt the wafers or use our microwave cooking tip below.
2. Working quickly, hold the edge of a cookie and dip one side into the melted candy.
3. Place the cookie on a sheet of waxed paper until dry.
4. Dip the uncoated side of the cookie into the melted candy and place back onto the waxed paper.
5. Use a spoon to smooth the candy over any spot your fingers covered.
6. Immediately place three cashew halves on the cookie for claws. (The candy may need to cool a minute or two for it to be stiff enough to hold the nuts in place.)
7. Let the cookies set at room temperature before eating.

Cooking Tips
*You can find green meltable candy wafers in the craft section at stores like Walmart, or find them at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby in the cake and candy section. I use the lime green wafers.
*Don’t want to look for candy wafers? Use white chocolate candy bark and add a few drops of green food coloring until you reach the desired color of green.
*Paste food coloring works better than traditional food coloring. You can find it in the craft section at stores like Walmart or in the baking section at craft stores.
*You can melt the candy wafers in a microwave. Just place wafers in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and then microwave for 30 more seconds if candy is not completely melted.
*Because you’ll need to work quickly to make these, assemble all supplies before you begin.
