Fall is just around the corner and that means it’s time for one of my favorite desserts; S’mores! But, if you’re in the South, the temperature is still hovering in the 80’s and 90’s. No one really wants to stand around a bonfire in this weather. That’s why I’ve come up with the perfect option; this easy S’mores Pie recipe. It only has five ingredients, a prep time of around ten minutes, and is sure to impress your fellow s’mores enthusiasts. Sure, it has to chill for at least an hour, but it’s a great way to beat the heat and enjoy the taste of S’mores.

Easy No Bake Smores Pie Recipe
I’m not sure why the craving for S’mores hits me each fall. Maybe it’s the childhood memories of camping with my Girl Scout troop and making S’mores each evening. Or later, the annual Family Fall Festival we had on the farm, where we had hotdogs, hayrides, and a blazing bonfire for roasting S’mores. Whatever the reason, it’s taken hold in a big way. My son told me, “Why are you so obsessed with S’mores lately, Mom?” I don’t know the answer, but I do know you’ll enjoy the results of my obsession.
Here’s what you need to make the pie:
16 (regular sized) marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
2 (1.55 ounces) chocolate bars
1 (9 inches) graham cracker pie crust
1 (8 ounces) container frozen whipped topping
Here’s how to make it
1. Place the marshmallows, milk, and chocolate bars in a microwave safe bowl. You’ll probably need a large one if you want to make the entire pie in one bowl. And who doesn’t to save on clean-up?
2. Microwave for 45 seconds. Remove and stir the mixture until smooth. If the mixture is not completed melted, return it to the microwave for 30 more seconds. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the whipped topping to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
4. Pour into the graham cracker pie crust. Freeze for 1 to 4 hours or until pie is firm.

Cooking Tips
*If you need to make the recipe gluten-free, use a gluten-free pie crust.
*I used Hershey Milk Chocolate Bars in my recipe because you can find them at almost any grocery store, but feel free to use a different more upscale variety (like Lindt) for a richer taste.
*I use the store brand frozen whipped topping (like cool whip) but I pick up the extra creamy variety.
*You can add more chocolate if you prefer a stronger chocolate taste.
*If you like you can add toasted nuts to the pie. Pecans are a good choice.
