I spend a lot of my time discussing recipes, trading recipes, and swapping cooking tips. One thing I’ve heard over and over lately is reasons why some people don’t cook. Several people told me they thought cooking would be too difficult, while some told me they didn’t feel like preparing elaborate recipes after working all day. And, I understand. That’s why I’m sharing some quick and simple recipes that taste delicious, like this easy caramel monkey bread recipe. It only takes five ingredients and about ten minutes of prep time before baking. They’re the perfect snack, dessert, or breakfast and brunch treat. Just put together the ingredients the night before and bake while you’re getting ready for work.

Easy Caramel Monkey Bread Recipe
One of the things I like about this recipe is that it uses some prepackaged ingredients. I keep a can of biscuits in my fridge and a box of pudding in the pantry and I’m ready to make these anytime someone needs a treat. These rolls have a thick gooey sauce and are a fun twist on the traditional monkey bread recipe.
Here’s what you’ll need
2 cans (7.5 ounces each) canned biscuits
1 box (3 ounces) cook and serve butterscotch pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
Here’s how to make them
1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. Divide biscuits into bite-sized pieces. I used a knife and chopped each biscuit into fourths.
3. Place biscuits into a gallon sized plastic bag. Pour pudding mix into the bag and shake until biscuits are covered.
4. In a medium bowl, stir together melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
5. Place the biscuits into a greased bundt pan. (Just spray it with cooking spray.)
6. Pour the butter mixture over the biscuits.
7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the biscuits are cooked all the way through.
8. Allow to cool for 15 minutes and remove from pan.
